Wallace M. Dunn

Dunn, Wallace M., 85, retired college professor and church organist, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Memorial service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, First Presbyterian Church, Wichita. Honorary organ prelude at 1:30 p.m. He graduated from Augusta High School, served in the U.S. Army, and earned a bachelors and masters degree from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and a doctor of musical arts from University of Southern California. He taught at the University of Wichita, the University of Texas, Tabor College, and Friends University. He was an Associate (AAGO) of the American Guild of Organists. For forty years he served as the Organist at First Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the First Presbyterian Church Organ Fund, 525 N.
