Arthur Joseph “Art” Haag, 73, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 3, 2012. Rosary, 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 7; Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Thursday, November 8, both at St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Vinita Cemetery in Cheney. Preceded in death by son, David John Haag; parents, Albert J. and Helen Haag; sister, Shirley McAnarney; brothers-in-law, Vern Penny, Ed Gaughan and Al McAnarney. Survivors: wife, DeAnn; children, Susan Cohrs (David), Jean Skladzien (Michael), Alan Haag, Amy Stull (Brett), Thomas Haag (Claire), Forrest Haag (Lauren), Elizabeth Sampson (Chris) all of Wichita; siblings, Howard Haag (Marilyn) and Ida Jo Jones (Bill) all of Olpe, Rose Marie Pfaff of St. Joseph, MO, Lea Gaughan of Las Cruces, NM, Charlotte Swisher (Richard) of Littleton, CO, Roger Haag (Marsha), Cathy Brady (Phil) and Bertie Smith (Bob) all of Wichita, Ginny Penney of Andale, Connie Rogers of Albuquerque, NM and Mark Haag (Karen) of Emporia; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
