Boyd Edwin Corum, Jr., 65, Mid-Am Building Supply salesman, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014. Vigil, 6 p.m., Sunday, July 20, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 10 a.m. Monday, July 21, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Boyd was born in La Russell, Missouri, graduated high school in Sarcoxie, Missouri, served in the United States Army and was an avid golfer. His father, Boyd Corum, Sr. and brother, Gary Corum, preceded him in death. Survivors: wife, Donna; children, Angela Brooks (Ryan) of Wichita, Nathan Corum and Cody Corum both of Australia; mother, Louretta Corum of Sarcoxie, MO; siblings, Carolyn Whisner (L.J.) of Kansas City, KS, Kaye Smith of Carthage, MO, Judy Seymour, Becky Massey (Friend), Bill Corum (Sheila), Bob Corum (Jadene) all of Sarcoxie, MO; Steve Corum of Joplin, MO; grandchildren, Olivia, Katie, Noah and Isaac.
