Ray Earnie Arguelles, Sr. 65, Hormel Foods meat packer, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. Visitation, 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 7; Funeral Service, 11 a.m., Thursday, November 8, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by father, Celso Arguelles. Survivors: wife, Donna; sons, Ray E. (fianc, Tonya) Arguelles Jr., Dominic Arguelles Sr.; daughters, Talia (Robert) Estrada, Andrianna (Caleb) Ortiz; mother, Alice Arguelles; sisters, Margie (Steve) Waymire, Debra (Tom) Rice, Marciano Arguelles, Diane (Cesar) Agosto, Carol (Richard) Gallardo; brothers, Robert (Celia) Arguelles, Richard (Angela) Arguelles; grandchildren, Alissa, Dominic Jr. and Aalyra Arguelles, Estancio Estrada, Aureliana and Leonidas Ortiz; best friend and brother, Frank Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers memorials established with Parkinsons Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 and Heartland Hospice, 2872 N. Ridge Road, Suite 122, Wichita, KS 67205.

  11. I just learned about Ray passing. My sincere condolences to Donna and all the Arguelles family. Ray was a good childhood friend. Always joking and oh! how he loved to dance. I still think of him when I hear ‘Your Love Keeps Lifting me Higher’ by Jackie Wilson. He would get down. Rest in eternal peace my friend.
