Dodson, Viola, 92, retired Secretary for Gas Service Company, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Memorial service is 2:00 pm Monday, November 11, 2008 at Downing and Lahey West Mortuary. Survivors include sons; David (Dian) Dodson of Missoula, MT, Dean (Barbara) Dodson of Douglass, KS; grandchildren; Traci Dodson Payne, Jennifer Dodson Cantu, Jermey Dodson, Amber Dodson Ukena; great-grandchildren; Parker Payne, Mason Payne Angelynn Dodson, Landon Dodson Cantu, Colton Dodson and Max Ukena. A memorial has been established with St. Labre Indian School, PO Box 216, Ashland, MT 59003.

I am very grateful that I was given the opportunity to know Viola. Although we knew each other only a short time, she has left a lasting impression. I greatly enjoyed her stories, poems and quick wit. I wish she could have been with us a LakePoint longer but know that she is in a much better place. I’m sorry that I was unable to attend the service. My prayers and thoughts are with you today and in the comming days. I know she will be greatly missed.
