Ellington, Nancy Elaine, 57, died peacefully on April 4, 2007 in Wichita, after a long and courageous struggle with cancer. Visitation with family, 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, April 6; service, 2:30 P.M., Saturday, April 7, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Burial will follow at Maize Park Cemetery, Maize, KS. Nancy Elaine Dubovik was born September 30, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada. During her life, she was a devoted mother to her children and family, and was loved by the many parents for whom she provided loving daycare. Preceded in death by son, Christopher of Wichita; mother and stepfather, Beverly and Hank Oles of Coffeyville; father, Dr. William Dubovik of Las Vegas, NV. Survivors: her husband of 39 years, “Duke”, whom she married on July 13, 1968; sons and daughter-in-law, Brian Eugene and Tiffany of Maize, Darin Matthew of Wichita; sisters, Linda West of Kansas City, MO, Karen Frankamp of Wichita, Marianna Jones and Sue Marxen, both of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Willie Dubovik; stepmother, Dorothy Dubovik, both of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. Visitation with family, 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, April 6, Downing Lahey Mortuary West
