Viewing, 2-9 p.m., Sunday, April 7, and 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday, April 8, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, Believers Southern Baptist Church. Preceded by parents, Chester and Freeda Stearns; brother, Ralph; sister, Ruth Reynolds. Survivors: wife, Ruth; children, Connie Harshbarger (Steve), Deborah Gronniger (Dale), all of Wichita, Don Stearns (Shawna) of Goddard; brothers, Robert of Claremore, OK and Ray of Talequah, OK; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
