Evelyn M. Corliss

Evelyn M. Corliss, 86, loving wife, mother, grandmother, faithful friend and USD 259 Elementary teacher, died Monday, July 20, 2015. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 24, 2014, at Pathway Church. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sally White; sisters, Clara McLain and Dorothy Harvey. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Loren Corliss, of Wichita; children, David Corliss (Sarah), of Castle Rock, CO, LuAnne Posson (Mark), of Wichita; grandchildren, Emily, Katherine and Laura Corliss, Logan Posson (Kaylee), Paige Posson and many dear friends and family. Memorials have been established with Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Road, Wichita, KS 67212 and Manhattan Christian College, 1415 Anderson, Manhattan, KS 66502.
