Beverley Ann "Bev" Shrum, Born Sept. 24, 1931, Independence, KS; passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2016, Wichita, KS. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Pilgrim Congregational Church. Loving wife to her husband, Bob, of 63 years, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Loved and admired by many, remembered by all who met her, she was well known in the Wichita community as an independent real estate broker for 38 years as owner of Bev Shrum Realty, Inc. Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Helen Linn Smith; sister, Mildred “Mim” Welch; brother, Eugene Smith; sister, Susie Babcock; daughter, Julie Keeling; nephews, Linn Welch, Gary Welch and Roger Welch. Survived by husband, Robert "Bob" Shrum of Wichita, KS; daughter, Christy Scott (Casey) of Manhattan, KS; son-in-law, Doug Keeling of Wichita, KS; Grandchildren, Brett Scott (Emily) of San Mateo, CA, Shannon Scott Stauffer (Luke) of Scottsdale, AZ; Kyle Keeling (Kyle Moravec) of Wichita, KS, and Michael Keeling of Wichita, KS; Great-Grandchildren, Jude Keeling of Wichita, KS, and Eleanor Scott of San Mateo, CA; Nephews and Nieces, Jim Babcock of Sedona, CO; Daric (Mary) Smith of Topeka, KS; Porter (Terri) Smith of Holton, KS, Tracey Lindeen (Larry) of Houston, TX, Beverley Banfield (Terry) of Littleton, CO, Sue Ann Williams (Jeff) of Fort Worth, TX; nine Grand Nephews and Grand Nieces.
