Robert Emmett Healy

Robert Emmett Healy, of Overland Park, KS, died November 6, 2014. “Bob” was preceded in death by parents, Emmett and Theresa Healy, and 5 siblings. He died suddenly, doing what he loved, spending time with family. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diane; four children, Robert (Susan) Healy, Michelle (Jason) Summar, Carissa (Richard) Froome, Anthony (Amanda) Healy, and 10 grandchildren, Ashlynn, Anna, Kaelyn, Jack, John Benson, Sophia, Amaya, Hugh, Owen and Charlotte. Bob grew up outside of Wichita, KS on the family dairy and pecan farm. He loved a good bottle of wine, KSU Wildcat tailgating with friends and being with his children and grandchildren. Viewing will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 12; Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Thursday, November 13, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora in Wichita. To support Bobs love of the Wildcats, please wear purple.
