Scott, Charles “Tom” W., 80, retired Learjet Technical Publications Manager and veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean War, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013. Service, 10 a.m., Friday, July 26, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Graveside service will follow at 4 p.m., at Piedmont Cemetery, Piedmont, KS. Preceded in death by parents, George and Hilda (Boswell) Scott and 5 siblings. Survivors: children, Gregory Scott, Linda Garton (Doug), Vicki Gromala (Ken) and Melissa Schroeder (Jon); grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, Lori, Chelsea, Lindsey, Jacob, Joshua, Lucas and Jason; 4 great-grandchildren; companion, Judy Stewart.
