Wilkins, Robin Case, 36, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, November 11, 2012 and Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 12, 2012, both at Church of the Magdalen. Robin was born March 13, 1976 at Wesley Hospital to Robert and Karen Wilkins. She attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School, graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School, and received her degree in Management Information Systems from Wichita State University in 2007. Robin joined the Cargill IT department as an intern while still in college. Upon graduation she was hired by Cargill full time and enjoyed a successful career there working in many capacities. Robin had fond memories of her activities in high school including basketball, softball, and cheerleading. She received a National Spirit Award in cheerleading, and played fast pitch softball for the traveling Outlaws team. As an adult Robin was active in intramurals, arts and crafts, and was a beloved aunt to Noah, Sophie, Theo, Isaac, Maren, and Connor. Robin faced multiple challenges in her short life - most recently she was diagnosed with MS - she faced each trial with grace, class and quiet tenacity. Robin is survived by: her parents, Robert and Karen Wilkins; sisters, Jeremy Didier and Stephanie Swords of Kansas City; brother, Rob Wilkins, Jr. of Wichita; 2 nieces; 4 nephews; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was a wonderful inspiration to her family and will be sorely missed.
