Dear Ken & Lisa, We offer our heart felt condolences for the loss of both of your Fathers. You are in our thoughts & our prayers.
Rest Joe, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation.
Joe and my dad (Wes Penner) worked together for many years and regularly rode the Vulcan Materials bus to work. Following my dad’s passing, Joe remained a committed friend to our family and would frequently stop by and visit my mom, often bringing her tomatoes from his garden. Joe was a true gentleman and his visits to my mom were a real encouragement! Our condolences to the family as we join you in reflecting on Joe’s life and our cherished memories. Sincerely, Wes, Jr. (316-304-7357) on behalf of Shirley Penner and our family.
