96, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020. She was born on the Ponca Reservation, White Eagle, OK. Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence and son, Vincent. Survivors include her daughters, Eileen Schippers, Susan Hopkins, Ramona (Tom) Skinner and Carol Gilchrist; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Rosary is 10:00 am Thursday followed by 10:30 Funeral Mass both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Downing and Lahey West Mortuary.

Hello to all my Schippers relatives I was 6yo and the 1st grandson I remember going out in the backyard to play with older girl cousins I kind of hung in the background and let them lead the activities…..besides girls were pretty much add lines compared to a farmboy with just Brothers. Merle’s was always so kind….seeming to understand my social plight Clarence was always a straight up direct communicator and Merle seemed to bring it all together My sincerest condolences William(Billy) Meysing-Alice Schippers son
