Godspeed Shannon, and thank you for your service.
You were my buddy…I will miss your funny emails and your devoted , dependable support as a friend.
I’ve known Shannon since elementary at Belmar. Growing up together, he was always making sure everyone was ok and he still did that as an adult. He was always checking on everyone and if they needed something, Shannon was there! He was a true brother to me and always had my back. If I stepped out of line or did something stupid, he was there to line me out and pick me up. No judgment, he just kept on giving me that brotherly love. His greatest love and his pride and joy is Jersey, Shotgun, which as most of you know was his nickname for her. I remember so many shenanigans he would pull on Jersey. Some pretty funny memories of him giving her heck in the funniest ways but he was always first and foremost the very best Dad to her. Jersey is the best thing he ever did, he would always say that and I truly agree. Brother, you are gone way too soon and I already miss you so dadgum much! You are with Sarge now, I can just imagine the time y’all are having. Til we meet again! Love you forever, your Lil Sis (Anj)
I was saddened to learn of Shannon’s death. I have fond memories of Nina and Jersey playing together as pre-schoolers. Once a week, Shannon and Jersey met Nina, Theo and me at McDonald’s for lunch. Those are nice memories. Shannon will be greatly missed by family and many friends. Diane Pepper Hall

From the first day I met Shannon I enjoyed his kind heart and friendship. I will always have fond memories during or our competitions. We all lost a great man!
