Patricia Maureen Hurley, 82, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020. A native Wichitan, she enjoyed every moment of her retirement after a 45-year career in the aviation industry. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jed and Tim. Survived by brothers, Jerry of Hackensack, NJ, and Gil (Carol) of Dallas, TX; sister-in-laws, Jo Hurley and Sharon Hurley; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Rosary will be Wednesday, November 11th 7 pm. Memorial Mass will be Thursday, November 12th, 10 am both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. November 12, 2020 To the family of Patricia, I have had the honor and pleasure of being one of her doctors. Patricia’s laughter and smile was always a delight on her visits. She had shared many wonderful family stories and I enjoyed every one of them. She really enjoyed traveling back east and mentioned Christmas holidays and decorations. Quite a festive time for you all. I will miss this lovely lady. Patricia was a woman of faith and we had wonderful discussions of the Lord and God. Heaven has gained a beautiful spirit and I know she is sharing that beautiful smile and laughter. My deepest sympathy to the family during this difficult period. My thoughts and prayers continue with the family of Patricia, I was honored, very blessed to take care of her hair for 40+ years. I also was very blessed to visit her a couple of weeks before her passing at her home as we sat outside on her porch just talking about life and some of our great memories. I will always remember Patricia as a woman of grace, immense faith, and a great friend. My thoughts are with you all!
