Agnes Frances (Pahls) MacDonald

Agnes Frances (Pahls) MacDonald August 13, 1929 - November 14, 2020 Wichita, KS - Agnes passed away on November 14 at the age of 91. Agnes was born on the family farm in Mitchell County, Kansas, to Mathew H. Pahls and Florence Mary (Thomas) Pahls. She graduated from Cawker City, Ks High School. On July 26, 1950, she married the love of her life, Roger MacDonald. At that time, she was in the Catholic Business Professional Women's Club and Oil Secretaries Club. Even though she and Roger did not have any children, she had many nieces and nephews, and her pets to keep her busy. Her favorite pastime was traveling with Roger and doting on her dogs and 'Petey" the parrot. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, parents, and her nine siblings: Adeline (Kenneth) Robinson, Lucille (Francis) Schmiedeler, Rosella (Piet) DeRee, Edwin (Bernadine) Pahls, Genevieve (John) Dekker, James (Margaret) Pahls, Raymond (Thelma) Pahls, Dean Pahls, Kay Johnston, and five nieces and nephews. She is survived by sister-in-law, Margie Pahls, brother-in-law, Joe Johnston, and twenty-seven nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service officiated by Fr. Nic Jurgensmeyer will be held on Wednesday, November 18, at 11AM at White Chapel Cemetery.
