Janet Lorayne Tabuyo, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at KU Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born on July 18, 1967, to Peter and Darlene Hall in Thiensville, Wisconsin. She moved to Kansas as a child and spent the remainder of her life there. She worked at a variety of jobs in customer service, and currently was a customer service representative at Source One in Wichita, Kansas. Janet recently started her own Pampered Chef business. Her family was the center of her life. She loved to cook and entertain. Many weekends you would find a large gathering of family and friends at her home with a buffet of home cooked food. Everyone who met her was attracted by her caring spirit. She was the most giving person you could ever meet. She would give the last dollar out of her pocket if she saw a homeless person on the street. As much as she loved all of the activity involved with a large family, she also enjoyed some time away with ‘the girls’ for TV marathons and day trips. She loved to go the lake for a day of family, fun, and swimming. Janet loved to play jokes on people and had an infectious laugh that got everyone to laugh with her. She had many nephews and nieces and loved them like they were her own children…and they loved her right back. It was not unusual at a family gathering to find her off entertaining (playing with) the kids or to find her on the dance floor having a good time. Janet is survived by her husband, Adulfo Tabuyo; her son, Matthew Hall; her daughter, Elizabeth Hall; her daughter, Emily Tabuyo, and her granddaughter, Nyomi Hollins. She is also survived by a brother, Lance Hall and wife, Tara Hall; half-sister, Angela Hall, and Akemi Vargas who she raised like a daughter for many years. She is also survived by many cousins, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
