Debby Brown

In the early morning of December 15, 2020, Debby Brown passed away, leaving a huge void in the lives and hearts of her husband, Bob; her children, Emily and Shannon (Marc) Rafael; and her brother, Cliff (Janis) Hartman. I can still remember last month we were all taking pictures at Shannon and Marc’s wedding. I can remember seeing you guys posing and laughing while taking pictures. I am so happy I got the pleasure of knowing you. I will always remember the delicious cookies you made last Christmas. Thank you for being sharing Shannon with us. Love, Kristine Rafael-Norris and family.
Deb and I were friends for over 45 years! We met the first Sunday after I moved to Wichita. She picked me up to go to the singles Sunday School class at FUMC. We lived in the same apartment complex so spent a lot of time together. Oh my, the memories of those years and all the news we shared about our families. Since I moved back to Wichita, we went out to eat every 3-4 weeks. Usually Mexican! My heart hurts. Miss you forever, my friend.
Debby was truly my Best Friend Forever. We met in the summer of 1959, just before I entered Kindergarten. We became fast friends and she was like a sister to me. We went through Brownies, summer camp, high school, college, marriage, families and the loss of our parents together, always there for each other. I will miss her dreadfully.
Dear Bob, Shannon and Emily. Wishing you all some peace from your great loss. Debbie was a good friend for many years and she will be missed by all her friends. We always looked forward to BUNKO or book club at your home because everything was always so good. I am also sorry I never got the plate of cookies at the Christmas gift exchange. Thank you for having a view on line option. May God bless all of you!
Bob, Shannon, & Emily… your loss is sudden and profound. Your hearts are broken and I’m so very sorry for this. Debbie was the sweetest friend I’ve ever known and I hope the memories of this sweet, loving mom and wife will bring you smiles in your tears and comfort during the pain. Barb Kidwell
So sad to hear about Debby passing. We worked side by side at Fleesons. She became a good friend and had a smile every day. My condolences to Debby’s family. I know how excited she was to have that first baby. Her family was so important to her. My prayers are with you all.
To the Brown Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Debby at Fleeson, Gooing in the 80’s. She was always a lovely person. Our paths crossed again at Watermark Book store. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Bob, Emily and Shannon, We are so sorry for the loss of your dear wife and mother. We know that this Christmas will be difficult for all of you – we are keeping you in our daily thoughts and prayers. Be at peace knowing how much she loved all of you – she is always with you. Love, Brad and Pam
I have countless happy memories of bell choir practices, performances, and pizza parties following performances. Debby’s passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled. I will always remember fondly the times our little group of friends spent together in high school, college, and afterward. -Gary Mastin
