Ray O. McCulloch, Jr., 83, retired pressman, died Monday, January 4, 2021. Rosary will be at 8:30 am; Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am, both Friday, January 8, 2021, at All Saints Catholic Church. Ray was a lifetime pressman, working for the Wichita Eagle from 1975 - 2000, as well as working for the Kansas City Star and the Kansas City Kansan during his career. He loved music, especially the guitar, and fishing. Ray was married to his wife, Mary Ellen McCulloch on June 18, 1966 and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage prior to his passing. Preceded in death by his parents, Olin and Ella McCulloch; siblings, Jack (Juanita), Joe (Sharon), Margaret (Chuck), Mary (Dean), Mike, and Albert. Survived by his wife, Mary Ellen McCulloch; children, Debbie (Mark) Chamberlain, Kevin (Jackie) McCulloch, Linda (Mike) Coster, Mike McCulloch; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken McCulloch; sister-in-law, Dell; sister-in-law, Joyce; numerous nieces and nephews. He was loved by all. Ray was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2017. Memorials have been established with the Alzheimer’s Association of Central and Western Kansas, 1820 E.
