John Michael “Mike” McGuigan, 86, Aeronautical Engineer, died Monday, January 4, 2021. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am, Friday, January 8, 2021, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Cecelia McGuigan; brothers, William and Timothy McGuigan; sister, Sally McGuigan. Survived by his brother, James (Karen) McGuigan of Olathe, KS; sisters, Patricia (Harry) Clements of Wichita, Mary Parks of Kansas City, MO; Sister-in-law, Katrina McGuigan of Wichita; nieces, Julie Hering, Paula Leal, Sheila Clements, Lisa Clements, Julie McGuigan, Susie Bowers, Meagan McGuigan; nephews, Jerry Clements, Curt Clements, Ben Bowers, Matt Bowers, Brad Bowers, J.J. McGuigan; 9 great-nieces and nephews. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Uncle Mike was a quiet blessing. I’m glad I got to know him better when he lived near my family in Bonita, CA for a couple of years when I was in my early teens.
