Anna L. Brotherton, Age 87. Danced her way into Heaven on Dec. 9, 2020. Born June 3, 1933 to Ethel and Hilborn Johnson of Missouri. Anna was named "Miss Corny Queen" in St. Francisville, MO in 1948. She was on the Library Board and loved Genealogy searches. Her laugh and giggles were infectious. Anna was such a delight to be around. All of her Blessings called her "Nana". She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 69 years, Harold Brotherton. Anna is survived by her son, Ricky (Jeanie); daughter, Teresa (Jack) Mitera of Wichita; granddaughters, Neely (Kevin) Bordegon of KC, Laura (Mike) Church of Wichita; grandson, Lance Branum of Jacksonville FL; 4 great-grands, Louella, Georgia and Kinsey Kate Bordegon and Kendric Church; brother, Danny (Peggy) Johnson of Winterhaven, FL; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Diane Alley, Patti Farrar, Elaine Terhune, Kaye Hall and Leo Meyer. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kindred Hospice. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm; Celebration of Life will be 2:00pm, Saturday, March 6, 2021 both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Service will be available to view by clicking “Watch Event” below. Special Thanks to Kindred Hospice and to Addi Garcia-Rivera for Loving Mom so well.

  1. Anna was such a delightful lady, she was always smiling and laughing. My husband Doug was in the Memory Care at Avita where Anna was. We sit together for most meals along with Leo and Phyllis where we all became family. Our Sons would come, along with Teresa, Jack and Rick, we had so many laughs and truly enjoyed Anna. She was such a delight and it was an honor to have known her. Love, Sharon Roland
