Kathleen Ann Albrecht. November 12, 1955 - February 18, 2021. Kathleen Albrecht, 65, homemaker and GJ & Company office administrator, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Dallas while surrounded by her family. Visitation, 6:30 p.m.; Rosary, 7:30 p.m., both Tuesday, February 23; Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, all at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Kathleen was a Ft. Hays State University Alumni, a resident of Wichita since 1978, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and “Nanny Kate”. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene G. Heiman and sister, Karen Sue Metzger. Survivors: husband, Rick R. Albrecht; mother, Clarine Heiman of Garden City; daughter, Kara (Justin) Ballinger of Dallas, TX; sons, Christopher (Anne) Albrecht of Ft. Worth, TX, Michael (Sarah) Albrecht of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Kate, Charlotte, Benjamin, William and Elizabeth; brothers, Bill (Janell) Heiman, Jon (Becky) Heiman and Chris (Traci) Heiman all of Garden City; sisters, Jeanne (Dean) Kleysteuber of Ridgedale, MO, Patricia (Ross) Miller of Garden City; father-in-law, Bob (Judy) Albrecht of Russell; brother-in-law, Dennis (Lisa) Albrecht; sisters-in-law, Lori (Gene) Albrecht and Shari Albrecht; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
