I was a student of Ms. Galvan from 1990-1992. She has thought me so much…. Not just Spanish but she has thought me to be kind and be a classy human being. She always looked beautiful every day she came in to class. I admired that about her. She is one of the reasons why I am the strong woman I am today. She loved her students as if they were her own children. One of the BEST teachers in my lifetime. Words are not enough to show how much I adored her. Prayers for the entire Galvan family. May she Rest In Peace.
Ms. Galvan had a profound influence on me as I sought to learn Spanish. Thanks to her, I became fluent and was a professional interpreter for a while! She has an amazing legacy and will be missed.
