Ronald Leroy Stowell, 76, Retired Police Officer, died Friday, March 26, 2021. Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the Midian Shrine Center, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, KS 67202. Preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Lola Stowell. Survived by his significant other, Amy Metzinger; sons, Cory (Kim) Stowell, Jason (Whitney) Stowell; grandchildren, Kaeli, Kennedy, Blaykleigh, Nellie and Ellis; dogs, Max and Sam. A memorial has been established with: Midian Plane of Mercy Fund (Transportation Fund) c/o Midian Shrine Temple 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, KS, 67202. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Midian sends our deepest sympathy to the family of Ron. He was a good man and he will be missed.
A real man would have acknowledged all his children. But Ron was not a man he was a lover. No matter how his life turned out or how much his children loved him he will be known as a lover. He walked away from a family to include 2 small children and never looked back.
Ronald had two other sons no one mentioned, Randy L Stowell and Daniel P Stowell
