Marc Anderson

Marc Anderson, 64, of Goddard, KS, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Private family services. Marc retired as a Revenue Protection Manager after working for KG&E and Westar for over 35 years. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather and brother. Marc always lived by the Golden Rule, was a very caring and giving man, and would do anything for anybody. He graduated from Wichita State University with a major in political science. He loved the outdoors, scuba diving, woodworking, hunting, fishing and enjoyed adventure. Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Kathryn Anderson. He was survived by wife, Pamela; daughter, Hollie (Travis) Elder of Derby; son, Shanon (Jennifer) Anderson of Dover, DE; 8 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; step-mother, Ruby Anderson; brother, Doug (Karen Clarkson) Anderson; sister, Jani Stoffle; step-sisters, Mary Leierer and Anne (Chuck) Roach; half-sister, Missi (Dean) Simon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, 512 SE 25th Ave., Pratt, KS 67124. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
