Sending my deepest sympathy to Damian’s family. Damian was an awesome person, friend, and co-worker. I was blessed to know him through High-school and also blessed to work at the same company as him. It is a sad time for sure. Keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Damian, his wonderful kids, family, and friends. Damian made a lasting impact in so many lives and will be greatly missed. He will remain in our thoughts and lives. Everyone who had the honor of knowing Damian were blessed by his presence and friendship. He was so thoughtful and considerate of others. He warmed the room with his smile and personality. I will miss our secret handshakes, talks about our kids, family, work, and sports (teasing him about the Cowboys and Jayhawks). I want to thank his family for sharing Damian with us all and making him the wonderful man that he is. We also want to thank him and his family for his service. Love, James, Anna, and Jackson Wiseman and extended family.
Fair winds and following seas sailor. “Boatswain… Standby to pipe the side… Shipmate’s going Ashore…” Thank you Damian for your service to this nation. U.S. Navy.
Damian was a great friend and co-worker who always managed to make you smile when you interacted. I will miss talking with Damian about sports and life and will always remember the good memories we shared. For example, Damian was the donut eating contest champion during the summer of 2016 when I was just an intern at Koch Industries. Before any of us had even managed to grab a donut, Damian had sent an email saying he had already eaten 10 donuts by 8:33am!
Damian was such an amazing friend and coworker who could always make me smile. I loved being able to talk about KU basketball with him. He would always call me “Miss Kelly” and I absolutely loved that. He was such a great man. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Damian, you will be missed.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May the God of comfort show up on your behalf. I pray as time goes on, memories will cause you to smile. I send my love to your family.
There are no words… So sad by this news. Damain was a great coworker and friend. From the beginning of my time at Koch, he always was friendly and went out of his way to ask me about myself and make me feel comfortable when first starting out. Damian was a great, caring dude who will be missed by all who knew him. You will be missed brother! I am praying for the Avery family. I’m so sorry for your loss!
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Damian’s family. As a co-worker and a friend, I will always remember him with a smile on his face, and a good sense of humor. He said “good morning” every single day and whether I was helping him or he was helping me; we got the job done. He was passionate about the things he loved; KU, Cowboys, but by far the most important was his family. He will be dearly missed. Fly High my friend!
