I had the privilege to get to talk to Dan often since I am a eyewear rep that sold to Grene Vision. He always made my day with his awesome smile and sweet personality. He was truly a treasure. I’m sincerely sorry for your loss. Susanne Somers
I’m glad you mentioned his smile! That’s why I picked that picture of him. Thank you for your kind words.
I spoke with Dan almost everyday as I worked at Duffens Optical, and we did work for Grene. Dan was always a pleasure to talk to, so friendly and helpful. He was just an all around great guy. He will be missed. Rest in peace Dan. Vicki Pruitt
Dan was a very kind man and was always so fun to be around! We shared a lot of great memories and times together, my family holds him close to our hearts. Rest In Peace❤️
Your family was very kind to him as well.
Once Dan had a neighbor that needed a bus ticket to get home but couldn’t afford it. We were talking and I asked him where he had been and he said, “dropping a friend off at the bus station.” I asked, “I thought he couldn’t afford a ticket.” Dan replied, “he couldn’t”. So I sat there confused for a minute and then said, “ohhh you bought him a ticket didn’t you?” Dan says, “yes, and I gave him my Bible too.” Another story I remember is he was working at IHOP temporarily and he was working a really late shift. I think he got off at 1:00 a.m. He had gotten to know a man in the kitchen who was working and sending money back to his family in Mexico. He wanted to learn better English so Dan went to the public library, checked out elementary readers and sat with the man after work and helped him learn English! Another story I can remember is he was at my house and said “I gotta go, it’s almost the triplets feeding time.” Confused I asked, “what?” He replied, “I try to be home in case my neighbors want help feeding their triplets.” He was the best cook I ever knew. Had a green thumb like non other. Loved, loved, loved the Lord!
So sorry for your loss. Dan was always helping me with any issues I had at Grene Vision Group. I really enjoyed working with him. Laura Baker

Godspeed Danny. A beautiful soul that will be dearly missed, and lovingly remembered.
Danny was a long life friend of 33 years, he was the kindest, sweetest soul I have ever had for a friend. I will miss him dearly. He lit up a room with his big beautiful smile!!! Danny was loved by everyone he met. Goodbye dear friend, you will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace.
We loved it when our family got together at William’s park in Pawhuska when we were little for family reunions.I can remember Little Danny was barely walking but he wanted to slide down the slide there and go with walks around everybody and give us hugs . He was so loving ..Then when one of our cousins passed in Geogia and they flew down for the funeral. He was still the same loving person then..We all looked forward to his mom and dad and family coming to mamo and pappo Freemans for visits.. Didnt get the pleasure of meeting his family after we grew up but Dan was a great man his whole life.. He will be missed .. Love always your cousin Gloria Townley Kramer
Danny was my neighbor and welcomed me to the neighborhood right away. He was used to drop off baked goods he made and gave me green tomatoes from his yard. I LOVE GREEN TOMATOES. He was a kind man our world needs more of him. Its weird now seeing his house knowing he is no longer there.
Praying for the family of Dan. We worked together for along time at Grene Vision Group. He was always a fun, kind, caring person. Always had a smile on his face and went to extra mile to help when he could. He will be greatly missed.
Dan was a remodeling client of mine. As well as a friend from years ago. He lived down the street from me. Always enjoyed talking with him. Sorry to family for your loss. Wish I had known. Will miss him.
