Caroline Clark Stubbs, 62, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 12, 2021. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary (Central and Woodlawn). A long-time employee of Gates LearJet/Bombardier and NWI Wichita/Triumph Structures. Preceded in death by her mother, V. Arlene Clark; and brother, Ronald W. Clark (Tina). Survived by her two daughters, Marissa Stubbs and Miranda Stubbs; father, Verne D. Clark; sisters, Janet Hilgenfeld (Dennis), Elizabeth Steindler (Thomas), KC Clark and Susan Clark Hamner (Dennis); brothers, Jerome Clark (Sharon) and Richard John Clark (Nancy); along with several nieces and nephews. In lieu flowers, a memorial has been established with Kansas Humane Society.

I worked with Caroline for over 15 years. We trained together and often had numerous conversations. We laughed at many jokes and she was part of the ladies at NWI/Triumph that found humor in the days that were tough. She always smiled at everyone. I am deeply saddened to know she is now in God’s hands and she will be missed. My heart goes out to her family. Praying you find peace and stillness during this time.
Caroline was always smiling and upbeat! She was definitely always a bright spot in my work day! We will miss her dearly at NWI!
Caroline worked for Excel/Triumph/NWI for 16 years. She was a hard and dedicated worker. She was always willing to help out and with a smile on her face. She had a great sense of humor and was loved by her peers. She will forever be in our hearts.
