Vernon K. “Bud” Dillon, died at the age of 85 on July 3, 2021. Bud was the former Vice President of Fabrication for Chance Manufacturing/Chance Industries for 36 years. He was born on January 24, 1936, in Doniphan, Missouri, to Bee and Vernon K. Dillon, Sr. He is survived by wife, Nancy; sons, Mike (Cindy), Matt (Cheryl), Mark (Deborah) and Chris (Rania); 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and sister, Betty (Jerry) Kipers. Visitation, 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8; Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 9, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Memorial established with Cancer Center of Kansas, 818 N. Emporia, Ste. 403, Wichita, KS 67214.
