Kristen Michelle Schmaltz, 39, Hotel Network Reporting Analyst, died Thursday, August 5, 2021. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at St. Michael Orthodox Church. Survived by her parents, Charles and Georgette Schmaltz; sister, Nicole Schmaltz. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219 and St. Michael Orthodox Church, 2710 E. 61st St. N., Park City, KS 67219. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

I loved working with Kristen. Always cheerful no matter how stressed she was. God keep her close
I will miss Kristen she had such grace and warmth. She was a delight to work with and I always looked forward to our daily visits . My deepest condolences to her family in this difficult time.

My sincerest and deepest condolences to Kristen’s family, I cannot imagine how difficult this must be. Kristen was one of a kind; kind, compassionate, warm and funny. She was an absolute joy to work with. There are no words at times like this, but truly she will live on through the difference she made in the lives of everybody who knew her.
