Melvin Eugene Hoffman

Melvin Eugene Hoffman, 87, Retired Boeing Supervisor, died Monday, September 6, 2021. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Celebration Baptist Church. In addition to his time at Boeing, Melvin also worked for the NASA Space Program in New Orleans. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and golf. Preceded in death by his father, Lewis Hoffman; mother, Lola Weaver; 3 brothers; 1 sister. Survived by his wife, Loretta Hoffman; sons, Rod (Vicky) Hoffman of Mulberry, KS, Rick (Kristy) Hoffman of Wichita; daughter, Terri (Eric) Meyer of Pearl, MS; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Hoffman of Wichita. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Celebration Baptist Church, 7202 E. 9th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
