Gilbert Anthony Dieker, 93, switchman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, passed away in Whitewater, Kansas, Thursday, September 16, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Graveside service, 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi, Kansas. Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Dieker, and his wife of 70 years, Wanda Dieker. Survivors: son, Christopher (Terry) Dieker of Maize, and daughter, Teresa (Richard) Kasper of Potwin; 5 grandchildlren and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
