  1. Phyllis was a new teacher starting out with 7th graders in physical education, Mulvane KS. Sweet and kindness are only a few words to describe her heart working with teenagers. Later on, I met Phyllis in Briarwood as we were their neighbors. We shared some good memories. Prayers for her family and friends.

  2. I went to high school with Phyllis. She always had a smile and was a great person. She will be greatly missed. Prayers to the family. Jim Kennard

  3. Phyllis lit up every room she entered & helped so many become fitter . We lost a beautiful soul inside & out. My dear friend who never had a bad day in her life. I will miss you 🥰. Ms. Barb

  4. We did not know Phyllis personally but were very good friends with her sister, Carol Harris. We are very sorry for the loss of Phyllis and send our deepest sympathy to Carol her family and Phyllis’ family. Our warmest thoughts go out to you all. Blessings, Russell and June Weldon

  5. I have been terribly saddened to learn of Phyllis’s decline in health and now her passing away. Marc Monasmith, Maize High class of ’64

  6. Phyllis was the happiest, kindest, most loving soul you could meet. Her beauty was truly inside and out. She was always willing to listen, and had a compassionate understanding of, and a way of relating to, everything I shared with her – and I shared everything. She really understood me, and I could be 100% myself with her. No judgement. Thanks for all the years you were there for me Phyllie. Your presence in my life got me through the hard times. I will miss our daily phone calls more than you can imagine. Love, Lisa. Picture is of the 3 sister, Carol, Lisa, and Phyllis. We often referred to ourselves as the 3 stooges, and would frequently laugh until tears rolled down our faces.

  7. Phyllis was a lovely and thoughtful person. As yoga instructor at Fitness Physique, she made the class very delightful and engendered a feeling of friendliness among her whole class such that we would get together for parties as well. She had a wonderfully fey sense of humor and enjoyed our Halloween pranks. M Wehrheim

  8. Phyllis was a very bright light in an otherwise troubled world. She always greeted us in yoga with smiles and giggles and true love. Will treasure our friendship forever. 💓 Susan Earick.

  9. Oh I am so very sorry to hear this. Phyllis was one of the sweetest souls I have ever had the pleasure to know. This world was truly a better place with her in it. My deepest condolences.
