Steffen Blevins, 36, Director of Aviation at Midwest Corporate Aviation, died Saturday, December 11, 2021. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, December 17, 2021, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 6770 E. 34th St. N., Wichita, KS 67226. Survived by his wife, Katie Blevins; mother, Tambra (David) Bibler; father, Daniel Paul (Stacy) Blevins; sister, Shanté Blevins; brother, David Bibler; nieces, Gracie, Olivia, and Devynn Harrelson; dog, Mazi Mae. A memorial has been established with: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.

I am so sorry to hear this news about Steffen. He was my son’s childhood best friend and he spent many hours at our house. He was an extended family member and we were always glad he found our home to be part of his. The forts the boys made were epic, extending between two rooms. He was always very polite and kind hearted and I am sure that carried with him into adulthood. Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. Cathy Buchanan Joy
