Rayburn D. Langston, 60, loving and devoted Husband, Father, Pops, and proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday, December 27, 2021; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, both at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Carolyn Langston; daughter, Abigail Ray Langston. Survived by his wife, Michelle Langston of Wichita; children, Justin (Destenee) Cue of Whittman, AZ; Shelby (Casey) Harrington of Pratt, KS; Trenton Langston of Ulysses, KS; Braden (Anne) Langston of Encampment, WY; grandchildren, Kian Cue; Cameron Cue; Julian Cue; Charlestyn Nusz; August Nusz; sisters, Teresa (Ken) Rupke; Neena (Steve) Williams. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.

Had the honor of knowing Rayburn in highschool ( Ulysses High), worked with him @IBP in 85 or 86 for a short while, then in 2018 or so was able to catch up with him and Michelle (whom I new at Bob Wilson hospital) in Hutchinson, Ks at the Blue dragon football games where there son attended. Good to have known Rayburn. R.I.P
I knew Rayburn growing up in Ulysses. I was in the same grade of his sister Neena. He always was such a nice person with a mischievous smile. Rest in peace.
