Mary Jo DiMattia

Mary Jo DiMattia, 93, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother died Saturday, December 25, 2021. Rosary will be at 9:00 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Church of the Magdalen. The Mass will be livestreamed and available to view through Church of the Magdalen's YouTube page or by clicking "Watch Event" below. She worked as a hospital phlebotomist. In her spare time, Mary Jo loved quilting, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and Church of the Magdalen for 50 years. She was also a member of the St. Anthony of Wichita Serra Club, Prairie Quilters, and Magdalen's Altar Society. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph DiMattia; parents, Albert and Anna Stepan; daughter, Mary Theresa DiMattia; sons-in-law, David Baade, Mike Carrell; daughter-in-law, Robin DiMattia. Survived by her children, Renée Baade of Newtown, CT, Laure Knapp, Tom DiMattia, both of Wichita, Mark DiMattia of Phenix City, AL, Vincent (Cindy) DiMattia of Greensboro, NC, Anthony (Diane) DiMattia, Joseph DiMattia, both of Wichita, Margaret Ann (Clark) Bolan of Clearwater, KS, Annette Cabbage of FL, Andrea Carrell of Wichita, Gino DiMattia of Lima, OH; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
