Gary Elmer Kopper, 68, Farmer, died Monday, January 10, 2022. Viewing will be from 7:00 – 8:30 pm, Monday, January 17, 2022, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Central Christian Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Virginia Kopper. Survived by his wife, Mary Kopper; sons, Chris (Blair) Kopper of Olathe, KS, Ryan (Sara) Kopper of Newton; grandchildren, Noah, Jenna, Calvin, Hayes, and Stella Kopper; sister, Velma Williams of Buhler, KS; nieces, Deanna Williams, Jolene Talbot; nephew, Royce Williams.

Mary & Family, We are so sorry to hear about Gary and you have been in our thoughts and prayers, ever since we heard you both were sick and especially since hearing of Gary’s death. I have good memories of times at Tabor with Gary, particularly in the dorm, Oklahoma Hall. We will always have a connection to your family through your son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. Dear Mary, Cheryl Miller Ramer notified me of Gary’s death. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I thought of our times at Tabor when we had such fun and laughter in the dorms. Remember the night we waited for the guys to raid our mod and we soaked them with buckets of water?? Such good memories of both of you. You are in my thoughts.
