Rose Marie Mooney

Rose Marie Mooney, 85, Homemaker, died Saturday, February 5, 2022. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Rose was very involved in the parish at St. Francis of Assisi, including RCIA, rosary group, bible study, MDA auction, and tutoring with the school. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and knitting, sewing several walker bags. Rose was very crafty and loved baking. Preceded in death by her parents, Gustav and Bertha Kaiser; husband, Richard Thomas Mooney; son, Andrew Mooney; son-in-law, Richard Pina; sister, Virginia Kaiser; and brother, Paul Kaiser. Survived by her brothers, Joseph Kaiser of Sacramento, CA, Charlie (Charlene) Kaiser of Dayton, OH; sons, Michael Mooney of Wichita, KS, Jacob Mooney of Wichita, KS; daughters, Patricia "Patty" (Joseph) Bussart of Wichita, KS, Christine (Raymond) Camata of Littleton, CO, Jennifer Pina of Wichita, KS, Darien Mooney of Wichita, KS; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
