Gloria Farha
July 20, 1932 ~ February 22, 2022
Gloria was born in Jdeidet Marjeyoun in south Lebanon. She received her elementary education in her hometown and her secondary education at a private American school in Sidon, also in south Lebanon. In 1952 she married Fayez Farha and raised a family with him. In 1986, she and her husband moved to Wichita and made a home in their adopted country. She became a devoted member of St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral.
Gloria loved to cook, entertain guests, and play cards. But her greatest enjoyment was watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years. She is survived by her son, Adib (Gayle) Farha; her daughters, Violette (Amal) Humsi, Diana (Ayham) Farha; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Marc, Daniel, Candice, Natalie, Nicole; her great-grandchildren, Layla, Marina, Ramzi, Zeina.
Viewing is between 9:00 am – 10:00 am, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral, 7515 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206. Trisagion and Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on the same day. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, 3424 E. 21st St., Wichita, KS 67208.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral.

She was always a gracious hostess in her home when we would come and play cards with your Dad at your home when we all lived and worked in Saudi Arabia . I treasure those days. ان لله وانا له راجعون الله يرحمها.
