Dr. TN Baktha

Dr. TN Baktha, 87, Senior Aerospace Engineer (retired) at the FAA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Wichita, KS. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Dr. Baktha earned his PhD in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Texas-Austin in 1977. He spent the first 21 years of his career at Bombardier Learjet and the last 15 years at the FAA, all in Wichita until his retirement in 2013. TN and his family have established some very deep roots in Wichita over the last 45 years. TN is survived by his wife of nearly 61 years Swaroopa Baktha, daughter Amara Baktha, son Barath Baktha, son-in-law Srini Ramachandra and grandkids Divya and Surya Ramachandra.
