Kimberly Dawne Wormington

Kimberly Dawne Wormington, 59, of Wichita, KS, passed away on July 7, 2022. Kimberly was born on December 26, 1962 in Evansville, Indiana. She graduated from Heights High School in Wichita and pursued a career as a Medical Assistant, which led to a position working for Heartland Research as a Document Specialist dedicated to advancing healthcare through clinical trials. Kimberly is preceded in death by Dick Jones and she lives on through her mother, Patty Jones; her sister, Julie Davis; her brothers, Bo Jones, Tim Humphrey, and Chris Jones; her children, Jakia Dunn, David aka Buddy Dunn, and Cody Luna; and six grandchildren. Kimberly's passion for music, literature, animals, and nature will continue to inspire the many who love her. Memorials in her honor may be given to the Kansas Humane Society and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A family service will be held in Wichita Saturday July 23, with a celebration of life at a later date. Services in care of Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
