Martina Moreno, 96, Homemaker, died Saturday, July 23, 2022. Rosary will be at 7:30 pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Maria Huerta; husband, Ernest G. Moreno; 2 Siblings. Survived by her children, David (Sally) Moreno, Cecelia (Robert) Cervantes, Elizabeth A. Montes, Alfred (Mary) Moreno, Mario (Dolores) Moreno, Rachel Moreno, Rose Moreno; 17 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 2351 N. Market St., Wichita, KS 67219.

Going to Fur’s restaurant on Sundays to eat with her and grandpa. We would always get ice cream before we left, along with grandma making sure she had her little bag to put her left over’s in. She made us laugh because she was so discreet about it! Love you Grandma
As a kid the best place to go and get candy was grandma Martina’s! She would have them in her “pretties” cabinet just waiting for one of us to come and raid it.
I have a lot of great memories. I will leave you with this one because it was something we did all the way up until the day she wasn’t able to anymore. Sitting on the porch sipping on something cold and sharing stories. Hers were the best! Loved all her stories
Martina was like heaven on earth. She was a small woman but had strength that was indescribable. She had a beautiful spirit that left you feelng loved when in her presents. I am happy and honored to have know you Martina! You will be greatly missed. Love you always. Until we meet again Fred and Grace Herrera.
