Francisca Rivera

Francisca Rivera, 82, of Wichita, KS, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at St. Teresa Hospital. Born and raised in Zacatecas, Mexico. Francisca was a homemaker and devoted wife. Francisca enjoyed knitting, cooking, and especially praying to the Lord. Francisca is survived by her greatest joys in life, her husband Miguel Rivera, daughters Maria G. Caudillo, Santos Rivera, Rafaela Garcia, Adela Rivera, Rocio Rodrigues, Aracely Salcido, and sons Miguel Rivera Jr., Juan Rivera, and a plethora of grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday, August 21, from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Prayer and Rosary will be Monday at 7:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2007 N. Arkansas. Mass will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday August 23rd, also at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2007 N. Arkansas. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery on North Maize in Wichita.
