I am so sorry for your loss. Marian and my mom (Linda Bisbee) worked at the Cancer Center. I loved how they would celebrate May Day. I also loved how Marian stopped by after my dad passed. She gave my mom and I a shoulder, a hug, and a great conversation. ❤️🙏
One of the purest souls I’ve ever known! Her love for her children & Clyde was amazing. Her dedication to her patients was inspiring and as a coworker, you couldn’t ask for anyone better. Heaven is brighter and I imagine quite the welcoming party for such an Angel. Blessed to have known you Mada Marian. All my love to Clyde & the girls. ❤️ Kendra
We are the Nurses Honor Guard of Wichita. We are sorry we were not able to honor Marian for her service as a nursing professional in person. Nursing is a calling, a lifestyle, a way of living. We nurses want to honor Marian and her life as a nurse. Marian is not remembered just by her years as a nurse, but by the difference she made during those years by stepping into people’s lives, by special moments when she was there. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all her family in your loss.
I am thankful to know Marian, Clyde, Shelby and Sebastian and to have the opportunity for our paths to cross at various times in recent years. We always tried to make a point of stopping by to visit whenever we were in Wichita. Marians commitment, perseverance and positive outlook on life were inspiring. I’m so glad that we were able to stop by before Marian passed away and that we were able to see Marian and talk with Clyde. We would have liked to attend the funeral and have the opportunity to offer our condolences in person to everyone and to share more in the celebration of Marians life. We really appreciated the option of viewing the live streaming of the funeral services. Our thoughts are of Marian, Clyde, Shelby and Sebastian and also all of Marians siblings. Bob Thackery
