Annetta Williams, age 83, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2022. She was born to Sidney and Doris Wade in 1939 and grew up in a military family. In 1941, her father was stationed in Hawaii where she and her family survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. During her high school years, her father was stationed at the Pentagon, where she graduated from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, Maryland. After graduation she attended East Carolina University, majoring in Speech, until she married Lt. J.E. Page in 1959. They had two children together. As a military spouse, she lived at many military installations including Alaska and Hawaii. She thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for the Red Cross and Navy Relief programs. Her activities included hula dancing, camping, embroidery, travel and reading. She later moved to New Mexico where she lived for 25 years before moving to Wichita to be near family. Annetta never met a stranger, and she always found the best in others. She will be remembered for her smile and cheerful personality. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband J.E. Page and second husband Bob Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Kathie Page of Wichita, son Jake Page of Edmond OK, grandson Donovan (Megan) Smith of Kansas City, MO, brother Scott (Ilene) of Tennessee, cousin Debbie Gavalas of Utah, and two nephews.
