Kara Brianne Gorman, 24, died Thursday, September 1, 2022. Survived by her father, Adam (Traci) Gorman of Wichita, KS; mother, Dani (David) Vonfeldt of Wichita, KS; sister, Mackenzie (Fiancé, Tory Smith) Gorman; Grandparents, David and Patty Gorman, Richard and Paulette Albright, Ken and Kyle Vonfeldt, Karen Richardson; niece, Nova Smith; nephew, Legend Smith; uncles and aunts, Matthew Gorman, Mike and Joé Fritter, Paul Vonfeldt, Heidi and Justin Lauppe, Justin and Sam Richardson; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, September 9th, 2022, and Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 10th, 2022, both at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Kara was born in Wichita, KS and attended St Francis of Assisi Elementary School. She graduated from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School with honors and was an all-state soccer player. Kara loved her family, friends, her dogs, playing her guitar, art, music, and Marvel movies. She recently moved to Colorado to follow her dream of living near the mountains. Kara had a beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and would do anything to help friends, family, or even a stranger.
