Rita Riebel, age 95, Nurse’s Aide with Minneola Hospital, Minneola, KS died Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Wichita, KS. Rosary will be at 5:00 pm, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, September 23, at Church of Resurrection, 3910 N Woodlawn, Wichita, KS. Preceded in death by her loving husband, John Riebel; and her parents, Joseph and Katherine Rupp. She was the last of her immediate Rupp family. Survived by her loving children, Linda (Cliff) Weber of Tucson, AZ, Dennis (Brenda) Riebel of Augusta, KS, Gloria (Randall) McBee of Newton, KS, Steven Riebel of Wichita, KS, Judith (Bud) Maxfield of Minneola, KS, Terry (Judith) Riebel of Augusta, KS; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. A memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E Rockhill St #403, Wichita, KS 67206.
