Michele Kostelecky, 65, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her father, Eldon Mills, and brother, Michael Mills. Survived by her mother, Ruth (Thomas) Mills; husband, Alan Kostelecky; daughters, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Landis, Christina (Halston Maierle) Kostelecky, Elese (John) Edwards; son, Michael Kostelecky; siblings, Maxine, Mark, Merle, Marilou, Myron, and Margaret; as well as six beloved grandchildren, Mikayla, Madline, Matthew, Elusia, Elyanna, and Mary Ellabeth. A Rosary will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 7:00 pm, Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 am, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. A memorial has been established with: St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, 853 North Socora, Wichita, Kansas 67212. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.
