Patricia Colleen Garrett

Patricia Colleen Garrett, 89, Homemaker, passed away at St. Francis Hospital on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Prayers and loving thoughts will be shared during the visitation from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery, Wichita. Patricia was a resident of Emerald Seniors in Wichita, Kansas. Patricia was born in Trenton, Missouri to James E. Rumbley and Loretta Levene Chandler on March 3, 1933. She grew up in Trenton, Missouri and graduated Trenton High School in 1951 and was employed at Beech Aircraft Corporation in Wichita, KS from 1953-1954. Patricia married the love of her life, Kenneth L. Garrett, on December 27, 1952, in Arkansas. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth of 54 years; son, Kenny Garrett; sisters, Connie Clark and Nancy Hein; brother, James Rumbley. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Carol Garrett of Wichita; her nieces, Cheryl Poettker of Wichita, Melidy Calhoon of Lake Charles, LA, Kim Incaprera of Slidell, LA; nephews, Bo Clark of Louisiana, Jimmy Rumbley of Texas. She has 3 great-nieces, Ashley Poettker, Natalie Calhoon, Samantha Jones; and 3 great-nephews, Dustin Poettker, Neal Calhoon, Chance Clark; and 1 great-great-niece, Lillie Poettker.
